Privacy Policy

Handle It is designed so your bills, statements, screenshots, subscriptions, income, and expenses stay on your device.
Information Handle It processes
You may choose to add subscription details or import bank statements, PDFs, CSV files, screenshots, and photos. Handle It processes those files on your device to identify information for you to review. The original files and full extracted text are not uploaded to Handle It or stored on an external server.
Information saved on your device
Handle It saves only information you approve, such as service names, recurring costs, dates, transaction descriptions, income or expense amounts, categories, and business or personal classifications. This information is stored locally on your device. Account and card numbers are redacted before information is displayed or saved.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Handle It does not use advertising trackers, sell personal information, or share financial information with advertisers or data brokers. The current version does not transmit product-usage analytics, crash reports, or performance data to Handle It.
Subscriptions and Apple
If you purchase a subscription through the App Store, Apple processes the transaction under Apple’s own privacy policy. Handle It may use Apple’s purchase confirmation on your device to determine whether premium features are available. Handle It does not receive or store your payment-card details.
Deleting your information
You can remove saved financial information using “Delete all financial data” in Handle It settings. Removing the app or clearing its local website data may also remove locally stored information. Because Handle It does not keep a server copy, deleted local information cannot be restored by Handle It.
Security
Anyone who can access your unlocked device may be able to view information saved in Handle It. Protect your device with a passcode or biometric lock and avoid importing documents while others can see your screen.
Children
Handle It is not directed to children under 13, and Handle It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Handle It’s features or privacy practices change. The effective date above will identify the latest version.
